There are now five candidates running for the interim leadership of the federal Conservative party.
The latest to declare will be be Alberta MP and former cabinet minister Rona Ambrose who will be in the contest where caucus decides on a leader Thursday.
Ambrose said she is well known for her civility in The House of Commons and believes a new respectful tone is what the Tories need after their defeat in the federal election.
She said the interim leader will need to cultivate a higher profile in the media to compete with communications savy rival Justin Trudeau.
