The NCAA March Madness tournament is living up to it’s name.
No. 1 seed Kansas, squared up against No. 2 seed Duke in the Elite 8 matchup on Sunday. The tournament has had quite a few surprises with a lot of the top seeded teams making an early exit.
Duke and Kansas are the only No. 1 and 2 seeds left in the tournament prior to Sunday’s matchup.
In a game that went back and fourth with twelve different lead changes and tied up on eight different occasions, Kansas guard Svi Mykhauiliuk drained a three-pointer in the last twenty-five seconds to send the game into overtime.
Kansas’ Malik Newman took over the game and scored all of their points and ultimately gave the win to Kansas.
The Jayhawk’s will now prepare to face Villanova in the final four showdown.
