Springer did some spring cleaning when he belted a two home run

The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees 7-5 in a spring training game earlier today. The game was back and forth tied 5-5 until the Jays offence led by all star center fielder George Springer two run home run in the bottom of the sixth. Another highlight of the game is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2 for 4 and scored a run. 

“Donaldson looked very good…”

Former Yankees all-star Josh Donaldson made his debut as a Yankee against his former team. After a down year last year coaches and players say that: “Donaldson looked very good against the Blue Jays’ regulars.”

The Jays have two more games to finish spring training, they are facing the Detroit Tigers tomorrow and then on Tuesday the Baltimore Orioles. The Jays start the regular season on Friday at their home stadium the Rogers Centre against the Texas Rangers where Jose Berrios the Jays ace will take on Jon Gray the Rangers ace.

The Jays are starting their regular season 2nd in the power ranking with the Los Angeles Dodgers just above them and the Chicago White Soxs just below them.
